Polo's hair looks ridiculous...talk about set yourself up for some serious sledging. He looks like he has a case of hair ringworm.

Am more concerned about Sarge's beard, he looks like an extra from the set of Deliverance.

Didn't know where to put this - didn't want to start another thread - so here it is amongst all the angst and fashion statements:

TW will be on ABC after 1:00pm (that was the time stated last night, anyway).

Meanwhile, I'm just chilling with the Coodabeens.

Troy Simmonds is a jib. In the last quater he ducked the shoulders and dropped a mark on the defensive 50. He did it twice last week also. For a guy that is over 6'6, he plays like a girl. Mark Lee needs to come down and teach him what those two things down below are all about.

Kidding right? Two weeks back from injury and I thought he was terrific tonight. Saw him back into packs a number of times. Simmo is critical to Rihmond and will only get better with more match fitness.

I'm talking about 3 specific issues, where he did the "Hunt"

It was about 15-20 minutes into the last quater where he jibbed it and ducked the shoulders, he dropped the mark.

In the second quater twice last week he dropped back and ducked the shoulders once again.

If it was Tambo or Foley (he wouldnt do it), because of their size, I could sympathise, but when your a 6'7 ruckman and you are afraid to back into packs, then you have an issue.

Look at Deledio, he was played down back and backed in when he had to. Thats another asset Brett has to his game.

I've just read that Jake King was reported by McLaren >:( for wrestling in the fourth quarter. Murphy was reported for forceful contact with Raines.

Murphy has to get off or the game is a (bigger) joke. Eagleton might have some issues after ankle-tapping Lids.

Couldn't believe the Murphy report. Both going hard for the ball low, Raines made a slight stumble and his head dropped just as they impacted. If this is a report, then everyone may as well do a Pettifer when the ball comes near.

murphy`s should be thrown out, can`t believe he was reported.
as for eagleton, that dirty dog should be charged with kicking. it wasn`t an ankle tap or attempted trip,it was a straight out kick.

It all comes down to commitment and pride you have in playing for the club, jumper and teammates. Unfortunately not many have this atm and go for the soft option thus leaving us vulnerable to other clubs who do the things needed when their turn comes to put the body on the line. Just disappointing stuff from some of the guys that get the priviledge to wear the mighty black and yellow jumper.

K so supposed 3 times in 2 games. I can name many times in both games where he did the opposite, so maybe there is more to it then purely ducking the shoulders? Confidence plays a big factor and you have to give him some slack last week after coming back from injury (they didnt really ant to play him last week). Entitled to your opinion of course but I don't have any reservations about Simmonds committment to the ball.

Agree about Murphy, don't think there was much in it. Didn't see the Eagleton one.

Shwarz also said on SEN that he didnt think that the players knew what the jumper meant. He said that when the song went on and people yelled out yellow and black they knew what it meant, he added it has lost its meaning.

I'm thinking about it and who are the players that have been tigers from day one and are from the leadership group?

Brown, Johnson and Simmonds are meant to be leaders but they are rejects. We need players that have only played for one club and that have developed as Tigers.

Tucks reasons for comming off may be due to that fact that he doesnt have a big enough tank to run as many other players do.

I still cant get over Millers philosophy that Deledio and Tambling arent fit or developed enough yet to play on th ball all day. But TW chucks Foley in all day. What a crock of crap! Judd at West Coast, Hodge at Hawthron and Ball at St Kilda, by the 3rd year where put on the ball all game.
