We paid peanuts we got monkeys......which meant we had to pay over the odds to attract a good coach, regardless of whether Wallace is the man or not, he's certainly a better option than Giesch or the Spud, but back then everyone was knocking us back. Hell even Kenny Judge gave us the snub.

BTW don't get me wrong, I am not defending Frawley & Gieschen here but maybe we should be paying peanuts again.
