Re Tivandale

I reckon he might end up being the Pettifer of 2006. Probably shouldn't still be at the club, will realise he is on his last legs and will lift his performance accordingly. Will probably then be offered a long, lucrative contract which the Tigers will later regret and will be traded to the highest bidder, which wont be for much, whilst we still pay the major part of his wage. ;) Sound familiar.

Heard through a good source Tivindale was heavily shopped around but unfortunately he's with us for 2006 still being contracted. This bloke could have been a really good player but never will.

and no-one wanted him.

What deos that say? His AFL career is nearing an end.

Stay tuned this time next year.

No point people bagging him anymore. If he is not up to it & gets a game, blame the selectors IMO.

"Gawd" leave poor old Pettifer out of the Tivendale thread he gets enough flack out on his own.
As for Tivvers didn't he have his "best ever year" just in time to get a shiny brand new three year big dollar contract a little while ago? Guess you're right jayfox, it must be be time for a repeat season.

He won't be delisted.  Simply he has a contract.  we tried to trade him, but couldn't.

Let him play out the last year.  Whether that be at Coburg or the Tigers is now up to him.

I honestly thought that WALLACES game plan would have suited Tiver to a "T" pardon the pun, but he never quite adjusted or whatever.  Maybe primacy in learning under spud has adversely effected him. ;D

The reality is, it is now up to Tiv.  He can cop it on the chin and go out to prove everyone wrong or he can fade into obscurity and let this become his last year.

Come on Tivers show us what you are made off.  The challenge is all before you.

I dont care what he does he is soft and a dud! I just want him gone!! PERIOD. Bring on a kid like Harts, Foley or Jackson who all go in and win the footy unlike the boundary runner Tivva.

bloody hell, i think some of u have forgotten how woeful he was this year!

I will never be guilty of that Cassady nor will i be guilty of over rating Pettifers season. Nor will i be guilty of Rating Hall, Hilton, Chaffey and some others at all hahahahaha all of em are very ordinary indeed and should all be gone as far as im concerned and the club would be no poorer for their loss.
as for re signing Hall and Rodan for another 2 years what an absolute disaster that is!!!!!!!!!!

I call Tivendale "Apples".

They both make good turnovers.

Tivvers is basically a receiver and best position would be in a Back Pocket or Wing. He has good speed and a penetrating kick. He is not really an in and under player and seems reluctant to become involved in a physical contest.

Solutions would be to Bulk him up over Xmas, more pudding Tivvers, and to talk to a sports Psyc,

Over used word, but the Man has Potential and could well be the spark we require for 06

BT I don't think TW has ever included Tiv at the expense of Tambling and Delidio or Polo for that matter. Polo played Burger Magoos until late in the year (copping plenty of flak on this site as I recall) and only pressed for selection in the last 2 weeks when Tiv was out of the side anyway. I don't think our coaches are stupid, if they have the option between a player who gets the ball and delivers well and one who doesn't, the switch will be made pretty quickly.
Edit: Whoops can't believe I used my 1000th post on a Tivendale thread.

Bill I wasn't talking about 2005 - Tivva deserved his games and the test for his career. We then tried to trade him and couldn't and we won't delist him because he has a contract and provides depth if we have injuries. I was talking about 2006 where every senior game Tivva plays will be at the expense of a youngster who really is ready to step up.
