Some of the things said on this board before the Swans game now look pretty foolish indeed.

We didn't deserve to be on the same field as the reigning premiers and we were made to look pretty poor.

So we win a couple of games in April/May - that makes people think we are going to be playing on the last Saturday in September?? Wake up and smell the coffee people.

The Swans made the Grand Final in 1996 and lost. They were in the finals pretty regularly till finally winning it in 2005 nine years later. Where is our finals experience? You look at every other team which has won the flag and they were there or there abouts before they won it. Lost a Grand Final or a Prelim before winning the big one.

Too many of the people here make a big deal after the team when they are winning and then get stuck into them when they are not. How about a more level headed approach?

I think if you read the board this week most people already have a realistic perspestive. We were really up against it with the outs before the game and no one has bagged the kids who were given some almighty task because we didn't have the personel to match it with the reigning premiers who were basically at full strength.

All it showed is that we just can't play all the kids for the sake of it.

We were severely undermanned yesterday and the result reflected that.
