Reality Check

Stand up against a terrible attitude and you are a troll.

The whole club should just give in until JON and Danny Meyer are ready to rescue us...

Okay mate, as an outsider then what serious expectation do you think this club should have going into this game? Of course they are going in to win and will be disappointed if they lose, but the reality is they are playing the best team since the Brisbane outfit, and the odds are against us.

There is a difference between giving up and being realistic, and someone who cannot understand that is either ignorant or a shitstirrer

Acid Test. Big time. The Cats are 7-0 and just going. Yet to get out of 2nd gear. They are due to turn it on.

Lets hope it goes the other way and they are due for a mental lapse and drop a game.

Good work turbo, I've never seen a troll as diligent before.

I’ve never achieved such mastery of the quotenator. Clearly the lunchtimes spent in the computer lab because the cool footy kids keep beating Abe up haven’t been wasted.

The Cats do have class - we are developing ours and it will at times be up to the Cats standard - the physical side of the game is where we need to make inroads into - we need to make our tackles stick and be able to burst out of their tackles on us - we need to win the contested ball aggressively.

IMO if we show signs of this then we have improved no matter the scoreboard

PS if we can do it for 100minutes we will win!

Nice to see you looking a little more positive again RT. ;D

With some injuries to key players the Cats are ripe for the picking. It needs a scalp such as this to really send a season spiralling upwards.

We have had some close struggles in the past and then we had that loss. This is a different Richmond side. One that hurts and one that expects to do well. I am hoping that the weeks rest has allowed the boys to focus on what will be their biggest test.

A win is a distinct possibility if they boys want it bad enough!

I think someone should start sourcing some extra carriages for the wagon. It's getting crowded especially the Richo and Foley themed carriages.

There's still plenty of room with me on the Meyer carriage

we're a little bit behind the rest of the wagon as it keeps breaking down, but when it's up and running it's a 1st class ride

I'll take your word for it Oporto.

the thing here is (also due to last time we played them) the cats may fall into the trap of thinking it will jsut happen. That they're due for a huge win and that it will be us. They seem flat, a little cocky and no where near last years best at this stage. The fact that they are 7 zip means nothing. On cumulative margins, we are only about 12 goals short of being 7-0 too. Only 16 pts shy of being 5-2, instead of being 2-4-1

I don't expect a win. Anyone who thinks we are in the same class as the Cats is delusional. However, catch any side on a bad day and they can be knocked off. Its a longshot I reckon. I hope for 100% effort for 100% of the time (sounds like Grant Thomas) and the result will take care of itself.

We are a real show this week. Bookmark it!!!

Looks like no Ablett, no Ottens, no Egan.

I'd go for the safety of Cats under 39.5 for the value bet of the round.

I can feel it in my bones. Upset of the season on the cards here folks.

Freo almost had them over there, until riled by Josh CARR getting stuck into Ablett. And Geelong decided to play football.

We flogged Freo there.

We have taken Bulldogs to a draw, and kicked more goals than Hawthorn when we played them.

So, one can draw a pretty good form line for selecting us to win.

Thats the difference- they can turn it on when needed, whilst we can't to that level.

I'm just expecting a competitive performance, and play with the intensity that has been shown for the last month.
