PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

Richmond's claim to fame for most of the past decade or so if that it has been the dumbest and most naive sides going around. Few 1%ers, blocks, shepherds, decoy leads. Wrong options taken and poor delivery skills to match. Contrary to the opinion of some we have had a few good cattle to work with but very few with footy savvy.

It looks like that is slowly changing with street smart operators in Wallace, King and Royal instilling some guile and with the players slowly being replaced with smarter models. Must say we looke dteh smarter side in the last quarter of the Sydney practice matches- Many thanks to Pharace and all the many others responsible for providing access - great stuff! :clap

In the next few years we can look forward to watching smart operators such as:

Tambling
Lids
Hughes
Schulz
Raines
Pettifer
Foley
Cogs
Meyer
Browny
and Thursty strut their stuff.

As well as a few honest foot soldiers in Hyde and Polo and maybe Patto and Mcguane. It will be a nice change to see us as the team withy the savvy nand attitude.

BTW saw the rookie club footage of Angus Graham - also looks an agile and smart player - doesn't really play tall though even though he's two metres high - more of a tall ruck rover type - interesting to see how he develops. Kicking looked OK to me.
