Recruit of the Year???

Is Patrick Bowden the best trade the club has made since Nathan Brown. I think he has fitted in very well at punt road. He has played well up forward in the first few rounds then in most of the second half's of our wins, he has played well behind the ball playing with Joel.

We got Patrick in a trade for Pick 55 (Brett Montgomery). He is averaging 17 positions and 7 marks this year. What a bargin. He will play 100 games for the Tigers.

Is this the best trade in the AFL this year???

Cant think of too many this year apart from

Hay to Kangas,

Rawlings to Kangas

Green to Kangas

Montgomery to Doggies

Pickett to Dees

Saddington to Blues

Bowden to Tiges

Richards to Swannies

Dont know bout this year yet but maybe Stenglein to Coasters was up there with last years best.

Geez the kangas got dudded.

Today proved why the Bulldogs had no hesitation in losing him.
No good against quality opposition and that effort in the 3rd quarter when he
shat himself, will see him back a Coburg very soon!!!

i think he should be dropped for that effort, a spineless act if ever ive seen one. have him play there till he shows he can put his head over the ball. >:(

Seems a shame that young players like, Polo, Raines, Tambling et al, who are giving their all for the club at a tender age should have to do the hard yakka and carry P.Bowden.

They'll end up with mighty sore shoulders.

Totally agree. He is a complete frontrunner and will go missing when it gets tough as evidenced today. Not the sort of player we need to take us forward and another short sighted recruiting decision.

Had a fantastic 1st couple games, but sonce then been nothing special. I was happy when we got him and lets face it, we didnt give up much. In saying that who at coburg would warrant selection ahead of him.
