The play that got my attention was when Polo got pinged down back, which got the Dees a goal, after Newman was trying to run away from Polo... probably to 'make space', so that when Dean went to handball to Newman his back was turned. Very very poor stuff but obviously what they have been told to do - against anything that is decent and right in the world! ;Dmartyshire said:

I think Newman's played ok so far this year, but we all have to remember, he was never that great to begin with! He's a slightly above average player at best, with no defensive side to his game. I can't count how many times i've seen him outmarked in the backline.
He's not a bad player, but he's not great. He's just an average player, and some people are forgetting that.
