People asked who in our club was good enough to play for another AFL club and thought Aaron Fiora belonged on the scrap heap.

Well guess who's playing in the preliminary final for the flag favourites.

I don't want the Saints to win but good luck Azza.  Sieze the day.

Good luck Jason Torney too....I do want your team to win this weekend.

Pity Maxie was injured or we'd have 3 ex players involved.

Maybe a change of team or different opportunities is all that's needed to bring out the best in some players.  That's why I'll be disappointed if we're not active in trade week....I think we will be this year though.

Good on you for bringing that up, Rosy.

I must admit I gave a little nod of satisfaction that Fiora had been picked in the Ain'ts side and, as for Torney, I'm always pleased to see him play a good game.

Can't wait to see the Yellow & Blacks in a final, though - hopefully next year! ;D

but tell me this if the saints had a full list to pick from would fiora be playing l for one think not l have no respect for him as a player but a lot of respect for jason torney and l hope he and his team go well

Yes good luck to Fiora. Whether you rate him or not he's about to play in a preliminary final(unlike his former team mates :() so I don't think he'd be too upset about leaving Richmond now.

For the record I'm definately picking a Swans upset ;D.

All the best to Torney too.

The fact is he is playing though. You've got to take your chances......something I don't think Danny gave Aaron too many of.

Luckily for Fiona the lights will be on tonight, so there's nothing to be afraid of Aaron.........just stay well away from Barry hall !!! :nailbiting

Is more like a sunrise over darkness there Skippa  :hihi :hihi

Difference between Torney and Fiora is i was sad to see Torney go!!!!

David Schwarze left no doubt what he thinks of the MUPPETED ONE!

When Fiora was read out OX sighed said you are joking and basically said Fiora was SOFT, NOT GOOD ENUFF and tyhat HE DIDNT RATE HIM!!!!

Now where have we heard that sort of talk before :hihi

FIORA is a DUD and the saints woulda been better off playing another DUD who could at least do somthing constructive like punching out NICK DAVIS or somthing like that and sacrifycing themselves for the betterment of their clubs premiership hopes hahahahahahahaha :hihi :P 8)

He has been named.

Expect a late change.

:spin

I'd rather not remember last year, in fact I'd like to block season 2004 from my memory altogether, and I don't care if muppet arms is playing in a prelim the RFC is better off without him.

Rosy, Rosy, Rosy..my dear administrator. I have to take you to task here. Fiora got PLENTY of opportunities under Danny. If he wasn't a first round draft pick he wouldn't have played half the games he did. And yes Aaron was extremely lucky to get picked yesterday..and he played accordingly. At one stage the commentators where laughing at him as he ran sideways from one half back flank to the other then kicked the ball FURTHER sideways to the boundary. And as usual his disposal was moderate (and thats putting it nicely!) No tears shed of Aarons departure and I tip that at the end of '07 he'll be gone from the Saints as well.

dudley gave far to many opportunities to the likes of fiona *smile* pettrified *smile* chaffey hilton fleming and it goes on and on.in fact wallace has done pretty much the same with pretty much a similar result.

Have to agree with this, if not for injuries to key players Fiora would not have played.
