A query on the assistant coaching positions at the Tigers.

I assume I haven't missed something huge in terms of the appointment of a replacement for Rawlings. So has the club given any indication as to the direction it is taking with this vacancy?

Have they abolished the position, are they keeping it free temporarily, or did I really miss something and they have made an appointment.

Have gone back through the boards but can't find any info. So thanks if you can enlighten me.

Last I heard was we were supposed to be about to sign up McGuane, but that fell over. Since then nothing, and it looks like the position has been absorbed.

Looks like Rawlings is going to do both jobs. He's still forwards coach at Richmond from what I've seen. He'll be a busy man when the VFL season is up and running. Don't think it can be sustained.

It's actually a good question, and one I've been wondering myself, who is to replace Rawlings, especially when the VFL starts.
We have a Club80 at the start of April, so I'll make sure I ask at least one of the players there, and certainly Greg, who is often there, what's going on.

Let's get Martin Pike down, he will happily scare the *smile* out of the some of the youngsters, who knows maybe even get us playing with a bit of mongrel!

God no. Send him back to Hastings.

Reckon there might be a nice gap for Kane to slip into, providing he keeps his nose clean.

Damien Monkhorst's role at the club doesn't get much of a mention.
He seems to be doing an ok job with the rucks.

Craig McCrae also goes about his job quietly. I wonder what impact he is having and whether his role has been expanded to take up some of the slack.

So who did replace Rawlings when he was coaching Coburg on sunday, then again the forwards did play like they were lacking direction and attention.
