Replacement for Chris Newman

Me too! I'd really like to see Roach get the opportunity to prove himself in the seniors.

From what i've seen of White he seems to have the skills and hardness at the ball that is required to make it at senior level i know he hasn't done alot but he has enough to work with and could make a good replacement.Roach hasn't shown alot but has good pace which meansif he plays in the backline more times than not he will beat his opponent to the ball and can provide some good run like rainsey.I don't know if he is hard enough at the ball or has the mindset of good defender though but  we should give the kid a chance. It must be killing him seeing Rainsey playing so well when they were drafted the same year and he was supposedly further developed than rainsey at the time so no doubt he will bust a gut when given the chance.

Harts was almost a cert until his foot injury, but now I think Humm maybe the ready made replacement. I say this as he has a more mature body and has endured quite a few seasons with the Eagles so should be able to provide a bit more consistency and hardness down the back.

Mcguane? - if he can play on oloughlin he can play on a small, he is quick and skilled and a smaller opponent may suit him?

Dont want to use Polo in the permanent back half and chaffey is gone....

outside of that we could try tambling in the back half and Roden up fwd?

For those guys wondering what wilderness Hartigan has been in, from TW's published comments Hartigan was going to be the man to replace Newman till he broke his foot. Might not have been true - I wouldn't put it past Wallace to say something very complimentary just to ensure the guy feels good going into a difficult recovery process.
