RFC 100 Number Plates for sale-Any interest?

I had an e-mail from someone who recently bought a car with the registration number RFC 100 as shown below. Being our centenary year he'd love to give someone reading PRE a chance to buy them. (Not much use the owner cos he's a Bummers supporter)

I'd love them on my car but being realistic doubt I could afford them. I'll open the bidding at $100 and cross my fingers just the same.

There is only one set of these plates available and they look like this now

The person has contacted VicRoads (and I'd advise anyone interested to make their own enquiries in regard to conditions/costs) and they can be transferred from the standard blue and white plate into Tiger colors within 14 days.

If anyone who reads PRE but isn't registered to post is interested please send me an e-mail [email protected] There's nothing in this for myself or PRE other than to give a Tiger supporter a chance to own these special plates.

You could look at it that way I suppose rens but on the other hand I'm happy it gives readers of PRE a chance to own something special.

Our highest offer so far (sent by e-mail) is $400.

I've been asked in an e-mail when this finishes. There are no deadlines as such but rather on Friday arvo I'll pass the owner of the plates contact details on to the highest bidders and they can negotiate between themselves.
