Mummy - Will Richmond be Premiers before I die????
Ello Tigers!

at the RFC family day it was mentioned that we play Swannies in Narandera NSW and then our final practice match at Optus Oval, on a Friday during the day maybe.............. ??

Anyone got any news and times and dates on this game as I would like to take the day off and go and watch the boys as I live just down the road in Coburg, so its nice and close for me and I work for myself?

Thanks in advance for any info??

from what i understood it was friday or a saturday not this weekend but the next...no other details ...dont think the club knows til after this weeks matches are played.....

NAB Challenge (confirmed matches)
Friday March 7
Geelong v Richmond at Skilled Stadium, 4.30pm

As per the AFL site.

Great......

Thats just great!!! No better way to finish the Pre season and destroy any confidence they might have by having the premiers play the wooden Spooners!!

Aren't you being a little parochial? The Geelong vs St Kilda game showed that Geelong needed to sharpen up a bit. A good confidence booster against RFC is just what the doctor and membership department ordered. Its a bit like the touring teams travelling to Hobart to bat themselves into form on the flat Bellerive oval against the friendly Tassie attack. Worst case they are bound to ease up in a praccy match so it shouldn't be too damaging to us.

nooooooooooooooooo! :veryupset

i hate going to that shithole!
FFS,why do they always make us go there.
every single *smile* year we have to go that imbecile infested joint.
it`s only 5 minutes from where i live but i`d prefer to travel to melbourne i hate it so much.

i thought we had finally avoided the joint for a year.

i`m sick of it!
why can`t they give us just one season away from the hole.

anyway on a less selfish note, i guess we couldn`t ask for a better opponent to face right before the season opener than the reigning premiers at home.
they will be wanting to put on a show and be fired up for round one.
should be a good hitout for us.

I love this. :hihi :hihi Very funny. :hihi :hihi

Maybe they can bring back the byes, so we don't have to play the Cats ever again. :cutelaugh :hihi

Cats at Kardinia to wind up the pre season ................... Oooouuuuuucccchhhhh

Let us hope that it doesnt become an ugly entry into the season proper for the Tiggies.

i went last year to the prac match and i swear i will never set foot in that place again...it is filthy...the toilets are am absolute disgusting excuse for toilets....long queues to enter the ground....hardly any gates open...food ran out... one word...hole

go tiges :)

Last time I travelled to Kitty Litterland we won.  Maybe I should make the trip every time we go there.  I have a pretty good record at the Gabba too.  It's the MCG and the Dump where my attendance doesn't equate to wins too often.

Great to face the best in the league prior to the new season proper. I'm wrapt the lads will have to focus on the task with such an opponent bright and early.

Regardless where and whom we play I'm crossing my fingers we win and don't get any injuries. I can't wait for the season proper, I've got a good feeling I can feel it in my waters.

Dont think your attendance affects performance at the Dump my Dear Aunty Rosella. ;)

The Dome has been a grave yard for the tigers :(

You're a real TIGER!

That's awesome....you're so close to Skilled Stadium yet you'd rather watch the Tiges in Melbourne.
