RFC Retirements for 2008 and the Drafts?

Mummy - Will Richmond be Premiers before I die????
So where are the RFC announcements on who is retiring etc for the last game... or will they be announced after the season with no send off? They are starting to come from other clubs now but no noise from RFC?

Who will we hear make announcements in the next 6 weeks at RFC?

Bowden = Maybe?
Johnson = Probably not?
Hyde = Too young but possible delisting or GC?
Tivendale = Likely I would say?
Pettifer = Keep for GC because of his age?

Also, does anyone know the dates for all of the drafts that are coming up?

And I read not long ago in the paper that Terry Wallace had thrown Pettifer a lifeline..

Hi jbprophoto - not 100% sure but maybe this is it?? http://afl.com.au/tabid/208/default.aspx?newsid=63364

I hope we have more than just Hyde and Tivendale going - shame if that is all we felt we needed to turnover to get better players. I am hoping Cogs comes back next season and I sure hope that Browny and Bowden don't give it away just yet. Pettifer should be kept for the Gold Coast for sure but JON and others need to be seriously looked at.

Cheers

Toad, Bowdo n Petts are safe.
Would think Monsta n Tiv would be gone.
Possible Howatt n Silvesta off the rookie list.
Myer n Cogs n Polack must be question marks regarding their ability to get back up to AFL standard.
Thats seven possibles off the list without even trying to trade for anything. There's a few clubs already cleaning out their old geezers and fringies because this is supposed to be the last uncompromised draft for a while.
The question that then raises it's ugly head is how much quality is really available in this draft?
If a bunch of clubs are going to be replacing six or seven players then they might find themselves hoping to find a Chris Grant at pick 105.
Obviously there will be no drama's to pick 50 or so in getting some talent but if clubs expect to be grabbing quality talent in round seven or eight of the draft they may be whistling Dixie.
Might be a good time to pick to round three or four and offer rookie spots to someone who missed a previous draft and has matured a bit at VFL or WAFL level.

You may be on the money TM. (In the Polak article in "Journo's section) Wallace has signalled minimal changes this year.
