I understand your concern but I don't share it. Jack's not THAT bad, no he is not the fasted or strongest but I would rank his footy brains as A grade and in a tall forward that means a hell of a lot. His strength will improve as will his speed slightly.

As Bobby intimated, when you have exceptional footy brains it enables you to do be just as freakish as the freak atheltes, just in a different way.

As far as comparisons to Lance, well one, they are very different body types. Your correct in saying Lance would be a C grade, but more to the point, and another point not discussed in these recent posts. is Jack's maturity. Jack's leadership and maturity traits ensure he is focussed on being the best he can be and his hungry to make a impression on the game. His discipline and dedication to his training is far and beyond Lance's. For that reason alone he will never mirror lance's career.

Also dont forget Jack has an exceptional leap that Lance could only dream of.

Think people also underestimate how good Lance was early in his career. Sure he tapered off pretty quickly, but was an All Aus player who was one of the premier forwards in the league for a 4 year period.

Agree. The real funny thing about Lance was that Carlton were super concerned that he would never put any weight on. He was a praying mantas in his teens.

While Jack has the smarts he does have the leap and times his jumps very well. At pick 13 he was a steal. If you look back at that draft right now he goes top 5. He is the best KP taken thus far by a country mile.
