Rich Vs Crows

The bloody dome does not have any bloody relevance into getting smacked like we did tonight....that arguement is just ridiculous...

Tubbs I'm not making an argument. I'm just as p!ssed as you are, believe me. I'm just wondering why such enthralling comebacks (aka Weagles) only appear to take place at the G. Just looking outside the square. ::)

I know such things are rash and wont happen but next game i reckon all of these players do not deserve a game especially after there recent form and inept performances.

Stafford, Morrison, Pettifer, Tivendale, Graham, Chaffey, Krakouer.

I think there is a point to saying the G is our preferred venue. It is after all our home ground and the dimensions suit us more than the Dome. But talk of a curse is wrong. Fact is we just aren't good enough.

My birthday too TGN - thats why im gutted the most!!! I love the tiges but as much ive tried to be positive so far this year we need to really have a good look at some players that were out there representing the jumper today. As i said i dont mind a loss but you cross that white line and you should put in 100% in EVERY contest you go to. Some players just dont do that - that is what disappoints me. I suspected that when watching it on tv but seeing it live and watching what goes on behind the ball reinforced what i suspected...unfortunately

can somebody please give me one positive from tonights game?

This is how I see it:
Krak - does not work hard enough, back to burgers
Graham - tries hard but simply highlights the issues we have if he gets a game weekly, back to burgers
Stafford - thanks for the memories but does not kick goals, get hitout or touches around the ground
Morrison - Lost in space, make him the burgers captain
Pettifer - has no defensive skills which murdered us tonight through Hart and Torney's run from defence
Campbell - big call I know, tries hard etc but no longer has an impact

Midfield - please watch the tape of the game and how the crows do it. when one of their midfield takes possession, they immediately have three or four teammates waiting for a handball. Far to often our ruckman hit it down the throat of a player flat footed and their is no support.

Happy Birthday mate!!

I'm sorry to hear your comment on commitment. I can cop losing (it hurts but it's going to happen sometimes) but I can't cop lack of commitment!

Scott Welsh always kills us no doubt nearly all of his hauls of greater than 4 goals have come gainst tigers, not to mention Ricciuto, Goodwin, Hart, Burton, McCleod and even that dud Perry always kills us.

Anyone listening to MMM, players have not had a chance to take their boots off yet. Terry really giving it to them!!
Terry's given them blasts for the last 2-3 weeks & hasn't made much differrence. The bad habits are back.

You have failed to mention the three turnover amigos crap turnovers and poor decision making in Bowden, Tivendale, Chaffey. We have a lot of dead wood and ordinary players at RFC and the time is approaching if not already arrived for the weak links to be removed from the chain which is falling aprt in a hurry deja vu 2004 i hope to god not!

Pretty much agree with exception of  Morro as he probably didn't know what was expected and playing a key possie, needed more support (as did Gas). Just think people should give him more time before judging. Our smaller forwards should definitely hold their heads in shame though ...  they are not there to win kicks/just to kick goals

We are playing undiciplined football at the moment, and are looking like a team that is not playing at all. I'm a Richmond fan through and through, I will not give up on us yet,  think TW can really turn them around after the break and maybe give them a bit of spark, we lack toughness,a nd Pettifer really showed us that tonight.

What hope did any of those boys in the backline have tonight with the ball coming in from a team that actually can kick the ball even under pressure to a leading target... give the backline a break. It was not so much their fault for us loosing the game tonight guys and girls.

Tuby, whether you are watching your son's U12 team or the Tige's all you want them to do, is to have a go.  We have all been told to keep having a go and the tide will change and ball run your way.  Happy Birthday and go and have a beer.

:'(

A huge thank you to Matthew - if the rest of our team combined had the heart of you we'd have watched a completely different story tonight.

Sorry I was spot on Tiggy...   :(

(And, despite the result, happy birthday Tuby.)

Ms Tantie.

Your kidding J Rod. Pettifers direct opponents in Torney and Hart were responsible for most of the crows forward thrusts. Pettifers toughness was limited to beating his chest after missing a goal and making stange faces walking off at half time. Needs more work on defensive skills.
