PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

Part 1.

Kyle Archibald - Looks raw, his kicking needs to improve as well as his footy smarts, a fair development year.

Joel Bowden - A solid contributor each week and started to put his head over the ball for a change, hard to gauge because he is always loose in defence a role he does well but his disposal by foot does need to improve.

Nathan Brown - Was having a great year until his demise in Rd 10 what we saw of him showed us how good he really is.

Wayne Campbell - A good final year, was solid off the bench a role he played well, still has the problem of holding the play up for too long can be frustrating when we've got a run on. Very good for 16 years.

Mark Chaffey - OP ruined his late season, but he developed as a tagger although he did get towelled a few times by opposition stars. If his groin problem is chronic then a trade should be made. Only fair this year.

Mark Coughlan - Was great early in the year doing some important run with roles. Is still plagued by a groin problem though his kicking lacked penetration and half the time he did everything to avoid kicking long. A very good season considering his injury history.

Brett Deledio - Where do you start? Will be an absolute gun, he has everything you could want in a footballer and the best thing about him is he plays for us. Simply a superb season.

Nathan Foley - Once Chaffey went down he was TW's first choice as a tagger, he did well goes hard and gets the ball out of packs his size and leg-speed are perhaps a concern but very solid in his first senior apperances.

Darren Gaspar - At times good, at times bad let's just say he was a hell of a lot better than last season.

Alex Gilmour - His year was ruined by injury, it thwarted any real development. He is very gifted, if he gets a full season injury free he'll play senior footy next year.

Mark Graham - Filled the holes when we needed him to. Just went about his business and contributed when asked to. Always competetive.

Ray Hall - Was servicable in the back half and late in the season the forward half for one game against the Dawks. He fills the hole we have at CHB and in a few years he may be the senior member of an inexperienced defence.
