Who wins the game, against the two, based on their respective G.F performances?

I found the 2017 team manic versus 2019 team being clinical.
Hard to split.
2019 team by 9 points for mine.
More firepower and a better spread of performance although Adelaide were theoretically a better opponent than GWS.
Thoughts?

Agree, and with Tommy Boy and Soldo in the team, we had more talls and definitely stronger than 2017.

Our 2017 mosquito fleet was all conquering. Not sure our 2019 defence without Rance would have coped. Dusty and Houli were playing a smidgen above what they were in 2019.

Houli? I reckon he went up a notch this season, maybe 2018.

Isn't it nice to sit back and relax and talk about our 2 flags in 3 years while Scumwood supporters can only dream... :mhihi

2019 better team IMHO sans Rance. Went in "optimistically cautious" as opposed to praying for a miracle. 2017 we won on raw emotion and system. 2019 pure system. As tiger supporters we know what we are going to bring as a team. We know we will outrun teams, grind them down and win clinically. I just can't wait for the most formidable backline in Modern AFL history to be assembled in 2020. Bring It On and Eat 'Em Alive!!!:gotiges

Agree Baloo.

The mosquito fleet were manic in their pressure. That second half against Adelaide was superb.

Plus Rance.

Rucks stronger 2019 and there is Lynch.

2017 fast finishes. Won numerous games in the last quarters!

2019 at times slower starters but pretty good afterwards.

Question being looking at Adelaide vs GWS comparison. Adelaide finished top and GWS had to hold onto their leads in the last so that 2017 was awesome against Adelaide. Looking back GWS were shot!

Subjective.

Anyone one of us could mount a case for either team.

Both of them different from each other!

Good discussion for the day.

I think our 2017 team wins. But only just.

Pressure from the 2017 (+1) small forwards greater than 2019 with Jack/Tom. Also 2017 Jack with 6 tackles from memry whereas this year he had none (different game I know).

Slightly better backline with Rance.

Dusty 2017 > Dusty 2019.

One thing is for certain, it would be a cracking game. :)

Good question 77777.

Reckon 2017 Dusty shades 2019 Dusty, but only becasue in 2019 the lads were playing aginst these blokes...

2019 easily. I love what we did in 2017, but we only had one plan - manic pressure. we have so many more strings to our bow now, its a joke. I think the bigger debate is whether the great Brisbane, Geelong or Hawthorn sides of the 21st century would have beaten our 2019 team. We are in the conversation, no doubt. Which is why we need to win at least 1 more to fulfill our legacy.

2019 win, the backline in 2019 for mine would have stopped our little forward line everyday of the week. There would have been no panick from our defence like the crows suffered, just a clincal disintegration of hope.
