PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

Gees lads I reckon I had the worst night of me life last night. First it started off ok when we got the VN Commodore – the Jim Jess Express – off the stumps with four good tyres on it. Then me and me son Shane set off for the G, the home of the mighty tigers. When we got to Warragul the engine sort of caught fire. So we ditched Jimmy in the car park of the local supermarket and listened to the game at the local pub. I will be interested to hear from some of the lads who went. I never sensed we were gettin much drive out of anyone at Centre Half Forward. That’s why they were kicking it around side to side. Shultzy can present as much as he wants at FF, and so can Richo when he is fit. But they are too deep. We need a real CHF with a bit of muscle. Only then will the Tigers defenders be able to go long out of defence. If we had one, it will make the Bowdens kick longer down the spine. Pettifer is a big flanker so he is not the right fit. I asked me son Shane if he could remember the last decent CHF we had at Punt Road, and he sort of mumbled David Bourke. I dunno about that one. So looking at the list, whom do ya reckon will be our next champion Royce Hart or someone similar?

And keep the faith !!!! We are so much better off than a few year ago under Spud
