From what i saw last night it was a training drill for the Blues, No one went near the opposition, and honestly the players i saw who actually tackled and play with some attitude were MC Guane, Foley and Richo.

My opinion what are your thoughts, we need to go out there and stamp a name for ourselves instead of letting the opposition roam free like itts touch football.

Agree this is why we miss Coughlan and why we recruited Thomson & Hislop these guys must come into the side along with Polo who also is a good tackler promote Nahas onto the senior list he is very quick & give us forward pressure could possible even play Jake King forward for that reason. This is also why McMahon Edwards Bowden should be dropped Rance must come into the side for Schulz play Rance back & McGuane forward leading out of the goal square he has good hands(most of the time) is quick & jumps well would not be easy to match up on not sure about his set shot kicking but can't be that bad!!

Rance, Thompson and Polo are all hungry youngester that deserve a game because of this simple fact. We where flat on Thursday, but these boys dont need a rev up to get going

Has been a problem for many years. Front runners is what we are....possession collectors who do not do the 1%ers that don't find their way on the stats sheets.

Players provide no protection for the ball carrier....rather than shepherd or block, most would prefer to run away from the ball carrier in the hope that they will receive the dish-off. Because the ball carrier is then under pressure when he disposes, it sets off a chain reaction of "under-pressure" disposals which ultimately result in a turnover. It has been a constant for as long as I can remember.

As for tackling, it doesn't appear to be a major factor of Wallace's gameplan. And it needs to be.
