Richmond FC , I forgive you

even if we do win in a major upset (possible but unlikely) - it will only disguise the true facts until the next flogging, followed by the next upset win followed by another 10 *smile* poor performances
we have to break this cycle, its been happening for years

Goodness Tango.....you highlight my point exactly.

The younger players I forgive - for they are just learning their trade - the older players just haven't got what it takes to play winning AFL football consistently - the RFC hierarchy and the football department I cannot forgive for they duped me with their propoganda and hype - Feel the Tribal Fever!

FEVER - usually is a symptom of a virus or bacterial infection - makes one very ill!

And in this RFC case it has yet again!

I have been the brunt of all Richmond jokes this week - and when I thought it was over a very close friend (Weagles supporter) called me yesterday and left the following message - "Hey, it must feel a bit unusual for you today - the days are still warm and Richmond is on the bottom of the ladder - you usually have to wait until the weather turns cold for that to happen!"

Forgiveness is a very Christian thing and right now I feel more like the gladiator/lion than a Christian........full of angst and bad manners...........

The majority of the list are younger players whilst the older players would be acutely aware of their footballing mortality. It the RFC did not embark on a strong marketing campaign to recruit additional members we would all be screaming incompetence and ineptitude on the part of the administration.

Exactly, let's not throw too many stones here beacause of one awful performance. Otherwise we're just making noise.

Agree - cannot that campaign be honest and trumpet that we are in a building phase - come and be part of the building phase - hitch your wagon to a couple of young players and support them as they mature into winning AFL footballers over the next couple of seasons - instead of the hype of finals football and the *smile* of Tribal Fever.

Or are advertising and marketing campaigns now synonymous with *smile* and hype! Which IMO do more damage than good.......

Im not in a very forgiving mood after that effort. I sat on level three and felt like jumping over the edge and single handedly shaking the living daylights out of our players in order to get some sort of response from them.

It was like our players were part of madame Tausaudes wax museum display.
