We have it on the authority of Eddie McGuire that the following conversation took place during Channel Nine's bushfire telethon last week, which turned on the fact that when members of the public called up, there were wall-to-wall celebrities ready to take their pledge.



"G'day, mate, uhhhh, what celebrity am I talking to?"

"It's Orlando Bloom..."

"Good on you mate, I couldn 't speak to Nathan Brown from the Richmond Tigers, could I?"
