Watching Underbelly on channel nine tonight reminded me of how big and how feared we were in the '70's.
For anyone that didn't see it it showed a packed pub in the heartland of Richmond full of crims in full voice singing the Richmond theme song with all the tiger champs photos in the background like Sheeds,Royce, Francis Bourke etc.
Then the next scene was two crooks walking along saying "smiling" Richmond supporters they're a pain in the arse and we should've belted them and when they couldn't find the crooks they were looking for the said"They're Richmond supporters, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree" they'll be around Richmond somewhere.
Hopefully won't be long until we're hated again!!
