Dropping players like Polo, White, Pattison who have spent considerable time in the AFL to get the requisite number of games to play finals footy for Coburg could easily backfire. Playing poorly at the VFL level because your heart would not be in it could negate the beneficial effects sought by having them exposed to finals footy.
If its a player such as Chaffey that is senior and spent most of the season at Coburg - fine. But not one of the kids that has spent a good deal of time in the seniors.

Polo is inelligible with more than six RFC appearances. There is also a 12/10 rule on the mix of RF C and Burg players. Coburg are not allowed to pick their best eligible team, they must have the approriate mix... seems unfair especially if you haev a stack of RFC players available (which currentlly there are..NOT)
