Richmond must either late in the national draft, or In the rookie draft Alister Neville. He is a stud and needs a chance at Afl level. He ozzes skill, a cool- head, quick pace where he can spin on a dime and football brain. It will be a mistake if we pass on him.

We should also look at Fort Caruso as a FP type at Richmond. Although some might say he may not make the grade, may I remind many thought this of jake King and look how he did. He would bring pace and a sense for the goals, while laying countless tackles adding to our forward pressure on backman.

What are peoples thoughts?

neville, a very good VFL player but not good enough for AFL, too slow, too much like fleming was.

a waste of our time and a waste of a spot on the list. much rather we use late picks or rookie picks on young speculative players, they represent a much higher chance of producing a quality player ie. foley

A lot of more knowledgeable people than I think he is worth a shot. BOG against Willy, Collins has said he is worthy, then he must be considered probably with a low end or rookie pick. Most don't think he will last to the rookie draft.

I agree Tigerjoe.

However, one 'positive' to maybe have one of these players as a "rookie" on the Tigers list, would be that they are hungry to play and succeed, because they've taken a harder road to get to an AFL club, compared to high draft picks.

Dont they teach sex education in schools anymore? And I'm impressed that Neville can spin on his own 'football' brain'. Wouldn't it be better if he kept it inside his skull?

im for neville getting a go i mean he may not make it but we will never no he may be great you dont no until you try he has proved himself in vfl now let him prove himself in afl

Neville reminds me a bit of Ashley Prescott in the way he plays

Neville knows how to get the pill. There are worse attributes.

Not if you turn it over consistently as some have claimed he does, might as well be playing for the opposition. If he can't use it I'd prefer he didn't have it. It's exactly the way I felt about Kane J for most of the year. "FFS DON'T KICK IT TO KANE!!!!".

Having said that I personally liked what I saw of him on the weekend, but I did notice a couple of long bombs into the forward line that landed with no Coburg player withing 500 km of them. Apart from that he got me excited.
