I've been to nearly every game this year amd still can't believe how players just don't learn from their mistakes!!

When the ball is in the backline and we are under pressure do NOT handball to a player 2 feet away from you. What does the player expect, that this player will suddenly have open space?

To all the RFC players but more specifically the backmen such as McGuane, Thursfield and Moore kick the bloody ball! How many times today were goals scored by turnovers due to the inability to clear the ball from these players.

In summary KICK THE BLOODY BALL AS FAR AS YOU CAN!

There is a reason the game we all love is called football and not handball!

did you know!!!! that david king is our back line coach, and he is pathetic!!!!
get a decent back coach and we will be a different team.
also david has already said that he will not be coaching our team next year b.

good riddance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

mmmm... the problem is that we have players who are clear, but lack the confidence to kick long to a target.
This is a hangover from the Wallace over-finessing legacy.
Rawlings is building confidence in players to take the opposition on rather than dance around on the spot and handball to sitting ducks.

It was so bloody frustrating today watching player handball to a team mate who was flat footed and with his back to our goals. The amount of time we turned it over from this style of play was ridiculous. Talk about opposition pressure, well we put half the pressure on without any help from the opposition simply by handballing to players under pressure or in worse positions.

Fevola summed it up when he said today they concentrated on applying pressure as we handballed so much they knew we'd eventually turn it over and we did.

Doesn't help when you dominate a quarter and kick 1.8 either.

Fully agree. Drives me INSANE.

Can't believe how often a player will be in the clear, and it is almost automatic to look backwards to give off a handball.

When you are in the clear you have 3 options. 1 Run forward to create play. Give a handball to a runner, or 3 kick it to a leading target ( or at worst kick to a contest kicking to our players advantage )

We so often win the ball, handball it around to get it to a player in a better position, and then stuff it up by over doing it when the player who finally gets it in the clear doesn't do what I have said above and wants to keep handballing around in a circle.

For god sake. Look at how the better teams play, and bloody learn. Stop over doing the handball every damn week.
