Richmond have become so predicatable it is boring.

I will remain an Interstate Member - I will watch their matches on Foxtel and FTA - but I know what the result will be prior to and during the match.

We will start well - we will have passages of play that are very good to great we will be equal or in front during the first half

Then after half time we will go into our shells because the opposition will put a bit of pressure on and they will kick many goals in a row and we will jog around after them.

There will be crowd shots of our opposition supporters smiling and joking and waving their banners - and there will be crowd shots of stunned Tiger supporters sitting quietly hoping they are not on the telecast so their friends at work or school won't see them and bag them out on Monday.

It is a tad monotonous.......don't ya reckon?

I thought one of your earlier comments tonight was insightful as to our fadeouts after half time. We burn so much energy with this stupid short game that we cannot run out a game.

This must be bloody predictable for other teams. They just hang in while we exhaust ourselves, then move in for the kill.

One thing that really makes me worry in this regard is the confidence other teams will get from this. Every team in the comp will know that if they keep working, no matter how far behind they are, they will have a shot at running over the top of us. Fear factor = nil.

When we have a coach worth playing for then the players will run after half time

Why run for a coach more interested in himself than the team?

Comments like that *smile* me.

The players don't play for the coach. They play for the club. They are also paid very well for their *smile* poor efforts. People here like to push the line that the players are professional sportsman. Does putting in a half arsed effort every week because you don't like the coach sound professional to you? Richmond is up the creek partly because the club is too *smile* weak to stand up to the players. To make matters worse, we now have people like Campbell (who IMO was one of those who was more interested in himself than the team.) being touted as having coaching potential.

Don't get me wrong here. I'm not defending Wallace and I think it was time for him to go, but there are few players that need to be kicked out the door as well.

The debacle known as the Richmond Football Club continues.

Yep. That's because when we take the ball forward our game style requires 8 - 12 players sprinting forward (when 3 players and 2 shepherds will do). So much player energy is wasted!

After a quarter and a half of that they are all knackered. They try to do the same but they don't have the energy to pull numbers back when there is a turnover and the ball rebounds for an easy goal. Our game style would be great if quarters lasted 6 mins each!
