Just went to watch the game and noticed the time on the dvd recorder was flashing.
I got about 5 mins into the 3rd quarter and no more footy !
Must have had a power outage or something.
So i suppose i will have to fork out $40 to name a game.

Yeah if you can get onto name a game. They have been having problems with there Website, but they were in the process of fixing it. I have always found them great to deal with. I got onto them threw email to order the Collingwood game as their site was US, and they responsed quickly and gave me a discount due to their online problems. Bet AFL.COM wouldn't do that.

Aging champions always get jeered by opposition fans. They slow down, the body performs sluggishly and they generally stay one year too long, esp in this era of big money. It is part of the territory. It happened to Voss last year, Wayne Campbell the year before and to Hird this year. When they stay a year too long, the farewell tour is for the opposition fans, not their own.

Amazing. I just watched that game again two days ago. Essendon are crap. Some good signs for us. Still a long way to go but great to watch a Tiger win. I still can't work out how Hird won BOG. He was crap leader.

I thought you could really tell it was all over red rover when he had a kick at goal (from right on the goal line in front) and just lobbed it over the top of one of our players heads, had he wanted to win the game, IMO, he should have rammed home the goal and tried to fire up his troops. It was a resignation that I don't think I had seen from him before.

he wasn't terrible, he worked a little bit when the ball was on the ground. But he played like a 19 year old, I find it hard to believe he was drafted in 03. frankly though, I wouldn't be against taking a long shot punt on him for one year after watching what happens to us in the ruck, he may just be a slllllooooowwwwwwwwwww developer

Tend to agree, I like to rubbish him after the Richo game last year but wouldn't be horrified if we picked him up on the right contract.
