i'm sitting in the 3rd row in the away supporters section on saturday. i would say that would be next to the cheer squad? looking forward to giving it to the big :donut

i have been to kardinia park many times, but i have always driven so i haven't been able to have a beer. for the first time i'm catching the train down there. is anyone able to suggest a pub for pre-game drinks near the footy ground?

i take it by no response that 1. no one knows any pubs in geelong? 2. no one is going to the geelong game? and 3. no one wants to stick it up the big :donut3 ???

Plenty of pubs around the various sides of the ground, can't name them though.

Will be on the train and will be stopping for a counter meal and a few pots.

Will be pumping the lads up all day......about time we belted the bastards down there.

Donut Day is here again !!! You beauty !!!

I'm dressing up as "Donut Man" for the day and will be dispensing free donuts outside Unskilled Stadium to all Richmond supporters to pelt the Big Donut with.

I'll be travelling down in the Donut Van with my untrustworthy sidekick Leysy Days who will baking the donuts en route. So you won't have to worry about them being fresh or not.

You'll hear our megaphone annoucements from the Donut Van:

"They're hot ...they're fresh...and they're delicious ! Hot American donuts. Cooking, basting, roasting all the while. Hot American donuts."

:rofl

Luv ya work Red, youve got the donut suits & Leysy Rodger's that on the flour, milk n eggs.

& I've got some of that tremendous homemade jam from dear ol nanna in Northern Tasmania to throw in the middle.

The sweetie reckons it couldnt go to a better cause than to see one splat on the donuts face as he stands on the mark....again!

Oh & You dont mind if she comes along do ya Red.......& no catchin a glimpse down her apron when she's helpin us cook the donuts on the way down......  :o :donut :donut3 ;D

Try Lord of the Isles pub which I think was owned by Barry Stoneham near the highway and KP swimming pool, there is also one near the Barwon river

I forgot to mention. Leysy Days and I will also be in every pub in Geelong, dispensing free donuts to Richmond supporters before the game. So get down there and have a beer and donut with us. (Keep some to throw, though.)

Surely this game deserves the status of The Brad 'Donut' Ottens Perpetual Cup. Perhaps the RFC should suggest it to the Geelong power brokers; :hihi

it would look better than the wizard wok.

Federal Court Ruling from the Melbourne Age , Australia (AP) -
A seven year old boy was at the centre of a courtroom drama yesterday when he challenged a court ruling over who should have custody of him.
The boy has a history of being beaten by his parents and the judge initially awarded custody to his aunt, in keeping with the child custody law and regulations requiring that family unity be maintained to the degree possible.

The boy surprised the court when he proclaimed that his aunt beat him more than his parents and he adamantly refused to live with her. When the judge suggested that he live with his grandparents, the boy cried out that they also beat him.

After considering the remainder of the immediate family and learning that domestic violence was apparently a way of life among them, the judge took the unprecedented step of allowing the boy to propose who should have custody of him.

After two recesses to check legal references and confer with child welfare officials, the judge granted temporary custody to the Geelong Football Club , whom the boy firmly believes are not capable of beating anyone.

Cycling to work early this morning saw the big donut himself doing an impersonation of a jogger. As he shuffled towards me I gave him a serve and a big "Go Tiges" on the way past. Bloke on the bike behind me was wetting himself with laughter.

Shouldn't we be playing for a perpetual donut instead?
Can't make the game as I will be going up country for a family 21st.
Younger bro will be in the Geelong Advertiser corporate box for the day and I have already promised to help him write up a few bi-lines for the paper when we pummel them.
Pussies drop this one and they won't make the eight, season over for the march champions.
