We did play some captivating footy yesterday.
Port(last year's Grand Finalists) may not be the top 4 side they were last season but they still have many quality players and it was on their turf.
It's important that we beat teams like that and we did...just.

yeah well ive got proof, geez where have u been living for the past 3 months, since rd 2 he hasnt had 1 game under 20 possies, was in the top 6 in the league for highest disposals last week but dropped to 12th now with his 14 possies yesterday and we all know that lids skills and decision making is spot on.
He's averaging 25 disposals a game, a goal a game and 6 marks and wins his own ball more times than not.
Last week i mentioned foley has been tagged heavily in the past 2 weeks and has had only 29 possies, 16 V dees and 13 V crows but if that happens lids pops up and gets a mountain of possies, its about having a midfield mix, now lids has had a quiet game by his own standing when u compare his last 11 games but he still contributed. Now foley steps in with 30 possies.

PS: On McMahon u rip into him at every opportunity but give some credit when its due, yesterday in the 3rd he made some daring runs through the middle to set up some fwd thrusts and the last Quarter jordy actually tried to take the game on from the back half to get us out of trouble. Sure he made some blews but he wasnt the only one, was definitely in our best players for the day.
Also had 4 tackles and i mention its the 1st time well ill include last week too that when he tackles he is putting everything into it, i couldn’t say that about him for most of the year when it came to tackling.
Look ive got stuck into him too this year on some games but gee if he has a decent game give him his dues mate, u pick out his every mistake but i tell ya he's done many good things too.

He's had an exceptional season to date and will probably finish runner up in our best & fairest.
If you can't see how good he's been this year I would suggest you are out in the cold on your own.

You also state he did well when the whole team did well, how do i respond to this nonsense, he's been doing well week in week out and considering we've lost more games than we've won makes him anything but a down hill skier....
Do u know what the term down hill skier means i should elaborate, when ur teams playing bad u seem to play bad when ur teams up and playing good all of a sudden ur playing well....well as i mentioned above we've lost more than we've won and lids has been in our better players week in week out, regardless of win/loss...so ur statement doesnt stack up, embarassing actually that u would make such a pitiful post...

isnt that the truth, he's been playing terrific football and at this stage he would be 2nd only to richo in the B & F...The medias loving him and praising him, on the couch, footy classified, footy show, the sun and age etc etc...
It just pisses me off a player has 1 so so game and the knives come out albeit only from 1 or 2 posters, he's last month he has been ave 30 possies a match...
Like i said he will play some average games as will foley, as will tuck, as will brown, etc etc, it will happen no doubt about it they're human after all.

Once again Deledio has shown his sublime disposal skills. He only had 2 errors again on the weekend and consistently appears towards the bottom of the error count list. This is made even more impressive considering the position he plays. For the record this week the highest error counts were as follows:
Foley 10 (28 possessions), Brown 7 (17), JON 7 (9), Polo 6 (14), Richo 6 (17), Pattison 5 (14), Reiwoldt 5 (9), Simmonds 5 (13). At the other end Bowden and Newman had none and White and Moore one.
Foley is being tagged hard and I think this has been reflecting in his error counts, also had 13 against Essendon. White hasnt been talked about much this game but I thought he played a very solid game this week. He is improving every match and has vastly improved. And Moore has been a total revelation.
