Confirmed the Sunday early time slot.

Poorly performed so far we get the Sunday game with another poorly performed side who played an ugly brand , Melb.

Sides who have been going great could find themselves with their momentum possibly brought back to the fold....?

And the eternal optimists claim that this will not be seen as an asterisk season. Delusional :rotfl1 :rotfl1

Sh!t just happened. There's no reason for it. And whatever the reason is, it's definitely got nothing to do with the June 6 protest.

Under Queensland's rules there is no way Gold Coast can play Geelong in Geelong this week.

QLD shutting borders to all Victorian clubs, and teams that have played in Vic, 14 day quarantine, also wont let Brisbane or GC play interstate and return without a 14 day quarantine apparently. If true season may be over.

It's a circus. You wouldn't even want to win it this season would you as no one would really rate it. Call it off if the above is true.

I don’t mean to get political on a footy specific thread....BUT....Palachook is destroying your state with this border closure. Another out of control premier on a power trip!
The Covid spike here in Melbourne is limited to a few municipalities in the lower socioeconomic areas in the Northwest and far outer south east of Melbourne.
Elite players from a football club are not going to pose a public health threat to QLD.

No doubt. Good news is she will get turfed at the election later in the year. Perhaps she is just enjoying the final moments of power that she has. When her biggest credential is being a child of another failed Labor politician, she hasn't got much to fall back on.

A proper leader would take the advice (usually competing) from all the experts and balance them out and make a decision for the greatest good. All she is doing is taking the CMO advice and disregarding everything else (economy, jobs, mental health etc). Absolute failure of the highest order.

Unbelievable isn’t it?
The municipalities of Darebin and Hume have a large % activists who protested 3 weeks ago. Surprise surprise, those are the areas where the spike is!
Anyway, just can this season already. The Tigers look totally disinterested and frankly so am I.

Her comment some weeks ago when she said ‘our CMO is the best credentialed in the country’ (or words to that effect), highlights how her IQ circuits are out of kilter.

Whether there's a correlation with the BLM or not doesn't matter. Andrews definitely needed to be stronger to prevent that protest happening.
Sent entirely the wrong message to society that everything was ok. Additionally those that ventured out & protested that day should take personal responsibility for their actions too. Extremely selfish to conregate en masse in the midst of a pandemic. Makes me so angry.

Strewth, Bris. Those of us in Victoria would happily be in Queensland's position right now. Why would you ignore medical advice if there's a chance you could end up with a second spike like we have?
