The best thing they Demons did was to get rid of Daniher IMO.

Just like the Bombers, the Demons in the first year did a big clean out of old established players. Even if they had a year or 2 left, See you ! .

Like Clarkson came in & traded a few senior players out of the club. Playing the youth and rebuilding from scratch with a few good senior players can only be good.

At the moment yeah Coburg would perform better. With Gold Coast getting conssions over the next few years. It looks very gloomy for the Demons to rebuild properly over the next few years with some excellent players as it will take longer with GC taking the pickings first.

Just wondering who it was that recruited all those lepers and unco dud kids onto Melbournes list?
Was it the same guy who put all their ageing stars onto long and expensive contracts so they could play out their careers in the VFL at max salary cap?
Is it the same guy we now have as our football manager and list / recruiting guru?

Nah! The only club in the land with duds on the list is Richmond, unless of course it is a dud player coming from another club that Richmond is wasting all its good picks to trade for.
