If a side has less than 5 wins or 4 wins or whatever the criteria is for priorities and they finish 16th then they do get priority darft picks however instead of getting picks 1 and 2 they now get picks 1 and 17 then 18 as first 2nd round pick and say another side that finished 15th would get picks 2 and 18 then 19

Id take 1 and 17, 18 over 1 and just 17 anyday, still value especially with back to back picks if you are tossing up between 2 players.

). We may look shithouse but we are 3 - 4, so we can't be ruled out yet regardless of how terrible we are. Hawthorn, Melbourne & Freo are all currently in the 8 and I would classify all of those as winnable games.
