Richmonds 2006 Predictions

I predict Terry will introduce a new style of game management this season with much greater frequency of changes off the bench and at least three midfielders selected each week as reserves.

I predict Cogs will spend most of the season in the backline swapping in the midfield with Johnson. This week he will start in the back pocket on Brad Johnson, who looks to me to be their most dangerous forward.

Bowden Schulz Raines will be our half back line until Raines proves himself after which he will go to the backpocket with Cogs on the left half back flank.

I predict Hughes will play his first game this week starting on a half forward flank. He will acquit himself well and come round 3 he will have people taking notice. Deledio will start at full forward and so long as we remain in the lead he will stay there and finish the day with a lazy 6.

I predict that Richo will play at CHF this week and for the season, but will find himself spending time on the  halfback line as well, especially in the second half when Schulz will go to CHF.

Bowden Browny Cogs Gaspar Johnson Richo and Tucky will again be our mainstays. Hyde Rodan Schulz and Pettifer will join this top group during the course of the season while Deledio Tambling and Oakley Nicholls later, will get us into the 8.  :hihi

Meyer will spend most of the year at Coburg along with Polo. Both will get more chances as the season progresses.

MOMENTAI  -  not one mention of your boy Pattison.  Come on! (Lleyton style :hihi)

The issue of breaking down on the half forward line, will be my prediction.

Not if we play Richo there!
