As a change from reading the repetitive calls for players heads it would be nice to have a positive thread where everyone can post who they think is our most valuable/important player, the one who adds something unique to the team and who we'd miss if he wasn't playing.

My vote would be for Cogs.  He's got a lot of years ahead of him and is being groomed for a leadership role.  He really adds grunt to our midfield in the way he's willing to get and get the ball.  His courage would be inspirational for the other kids and he bounces up from under packs or from hard knocks and just goes about his business.

I think Cogs is the kind of player who’s work often goes unnoticed but his work getting the ball to the flashier players to get the ball through the goals. We've really missed him when he's been injured.

Assuming hypothetically that all our players are fit who would you select as our MVP.  Surely even the darkest of supporters can come up with one player on the list?

Mine would be andy kellaway puts his body on the line and gives it his best. He bobs up for a goal here and there and he is just a great clubman.

I tossed a coin between Andy and Mark jonno but Mark won because of his age.

i thought about cogs as well but i prefer andy you always know you will get the best out of him. cogs is also a vital player in our structure. We are gonna miss his class and his clearences this year.

RUCK: Simmo
MID: Coggs / Sugar
BACK: Newman
CHF: Petts
FF: Browny

Also B1 and B2....

.........  ;D ....... couldn't stop at just the one...

I thought about who would leave a big hole in the team if not named in the side and the winner is ............ Simmo (ATM). Will reassess when the entire team is fit, undamaged and firing (sigh.... there's always next year)
