Richo 800!! coming up!!

Look out at the game Saturday night, the Banana's kids will be waving a 800 Banner for Richo.

Bananas

800 banners...there must be a lot of Bananas in the bunch to hold up that many banners.

If he had Tony Lockett's accuracy, then by digging into that old mathematics side of my brain, he would only have an extra 80 goals to his name.

Richo was about 60% accuracy, Lockett about 70% right?

Add 10% of 800 goals.

His innacuracy isn't as big as you'd think. He'd still be behind Lloyd even if he could kick consistently.

He is a champion. If only he kicked straighter, would defiantly be higher on the list. But he will always be a champ in the competition to me! I love you Richo. Well done big fella! It will defiantly be a sad day when you hang up the boots.

So by the end of his career he'll be in the top 10 goal kickers of all time and the leading goal kicker at the MCG.

That's to go with everything else he does on the ground.. contested marks, breaking packs, running miles, playing with courage and through injury etc.. all without having the luxury of having good constant ball delivery from the midfield. A true Richmond champion and why many supporters still can go to the footy and get some joy out of the match, even if it isn't a much needed win.

Well done Richo! :clap

Congratz Richo. Good to see a positive thread here regarding the champ. All the posts I have been reading lately ie trading him for a 4 th round pick or that he should retire make me a little sick.

I am 26 so I haven't seen too much success but don't remember a time when I didn't go for Richmond. Mum went for Richmond and Dad went for Collingwood and I chose early and never looked back.

I don't think I would have went to half as many matches growing up or cheered with the same amount of gusto if not for Richo. Richo made me still proud to support Richmond even in the dark times. Fact is Richo feels the same about every match result as you.

Anybody else get worried they wont care as much when he retires?

800 = 60%

10% = 800/6 ~ 133

133 multiplied by 7 ~ 930

Would be 30 higher than Lloyd, 70 off 1000.

Don't forget all the shots that never even score a point (out of bounds or fall short). They aren't counted in stats. If you add in all the shots on goal he has had from inside 50 his accuracy drops another 10-15%. Absolute flat out phenomenal player who is an absolute flat out shocking kick. Love him! :hihi

Congratulations to the champ.

I hope too that he gets this goal quickly in the first and inspire the players to win !

Lets see. This will tell us more in the chapter that is the RICHMOND FOOTBALL CLUB 2009 VERSION
