Meet Richo a few times, asked him for an autograph for my old man, no drama, then had a chat with him about the tigs for a good 15 min. Deserves the award just for the way he handles him self with the fans, let alone the 800 goals. Nothing is to much. Just imagine how many he would of kicked with a Buckley or Voss hitting him on the chest. Won the contested marks pretty much every year because he had to. And his running ability for such a big guy. Phenomenal athlete Richo was. Without him the club had nothing for 15 years. Congrats big fella, best I've seen in a Richmond jumper.
I remember sitting in those old red seats at the G and spotting son of bull debuting against the Saints , straight away we all knew we had a thorougbread , Thanks for the great memories champ and congratulations...

Richo was always my favourite player. I dont think I'll ever enjoy watching football as much as when he played. At my wedding during my bestmans speech he organised for Richo to say a few words on tape. Richo did it in one take. It was all about how we had good times together but I needed to move on and forget about him and that wife Tammy was a better catch. It was very funny and it got the biggest cheer of the night.
I have always lived well away from Melb and used to send in trading cards to the club for signatures for me and the kids - Richo always the first to send it back not only signed but with a short note thanking us for the support. Man love for this bloke.
Dud !! The dud was Richo full stop. 1993 to 2009 & made finals twice ( Doggies done better that that). Remember Ottens. Could not give him a pay rise as there was no spare cash due to Richo's bucket. Ya groan & moan why Tigers wallow in their lack of success & truth is Richo should have been moved on. Lockett ,Hall ,Judd & now Franklin were moved on. Plough never took on Roughie & Franklin because Tigers had Richo. Rest is history & it comes back year after to bite Tiger true blues on the bum. The Richmond Football Club is about winning premierships & being in the hunt year after year. During Richo's tenure at the club this was not achieved & he was TOP GUN.

Tigaman ....funny as he is no danger of admitting to be a man.....I dont recall him of being nominated to being in danger of being a champion player or being nominated to being in the hall of fame.....Tigaman ......go and play in the traffic please and go to school for once.......

Richo is what's missing from the last time we were down and now.
Last time we were properly down, I , and others , were happy to go & just see what Richo would do. He never gave up. He earnt every bit of love he has received. My opinion.
We don't have a Richo now. Last week , for example, I thought : yeah, Dusty did okay... Chaplin played better thn most games this year... but nothing brilliant. Richo usually did something to warm the heart. win lose or draw.
