Who gave him that role? It should have been Johnson or Coughlan. Frawley has just made an idiot out of himself again. Richo is a good player but the way he acts on the field gives him no right to have the role of captain.

thats right hes not a captain
our captain and vice captain can hardly walk at the moment
have we all forgotten this?
we just dont have the bloody depth to cover them
jonno and cogs as great as they are cant possibly be captain given their time at the club surly

Couldn't agree more Sean Pean.
Richo is a leader amongst the team, but not the main leader. What team in the AFL does have three ready made skippers, just incase the Captain, and Vice Captain go down? Doubt there would be many.
Hopefully next year Richo can concentrate on playing good footy with fit team mates, and smarter midfielders kicking him the ball lace out.
By the way, I'll just post my special thanks to Joel Bowden for playing well the last couple of weeks. You've just provided us with a bit more ammunition come trade period.
