Richo on 3AW after 7 pm news.

Well they can try putting Schulz as far away from Richo as possible but I cant see this working. As for Tuck, where does that leave our on ball hardness....

I like the idea of Sarge as a key defender...not sure why but i do. I think it was Campbells last game down at Geelon in 2005 when Schulz actually played 4 quaters down at CHB and he was excellent. I know its been done to death but at 23 this is his year and with some added bulk he may just be a good find down the back half.

Ah well its worth trying instead of throwing another half talent youngster on the out pile.

King Thursfield J.Bowden
McMahon Schulz Morton
Polo Tuck Tambling
Pettifer Richardson JR/CH
Brown Polak Deledio

R. Simmonds, Foley Newman

I. Pattison, Coughlan, Conners, Edwards

im a strong advocate for polak to FF now we have more candidates for backline positions. believe its his most contributive position. does place undue pressure on the likes of Rance and Thursty though.

Sarge is not a defenders ahole. has been tried there before and failed. why are we hellbent on yoyo-ing juniors all over the place instead of allowing them time to settle. i actually feel abit for sarge but i suppose its through no fault of his own. it'll be damn interesting to see what last years trade talks have done to Schulz. Will it motivate him more or will he have a half arsed year?

im with purplesneakers(great nick too bu the way) on tucky in the backline. just doesnt make any sense although we all have no idea of the inner workings of the club and tucky so who knows what has transpired to make this change. maybe tucky wanted it? who knows.

think morton will be swung either end.

with thursty and mcguane out it looks like :

King Rance Tuck
Sanchez Schulz Bowden

Tuck is the sesame street "one of these things is not like the other" person.
Schulz is a stop gap if you ask me. If Thursty and McGuane were avail id go:

King Thursty McGuane
Sanchez Bowden Rance

the forgotten man is Big Cat. He's my smoky to get a guernsey if he plays and trains well over the next 8 days.

Schulz and Tuck to defence reeks of setting them up for a fall. Neither are qualified for the role and will be found wanting ver early before being dropped to Coburg then delisted at years end.

Although, I think Schulz has a greater chance of surviving in defence than Tuck has. Perhaps Wallace is going to force some personal changes in the midfield this year by removing Tuck from the rotations?

Surely Tuck would be the better option in the middle until/if Cogs gets his groove back?

Never know it could be a direct swap for Newman.

F: King Thursfield Bowden
FB: McMahon Shulz Tuck

So from all report heard this is close to our starting line up. Will keep my eye on this! But i've also heard Bowden will play a different role in the backline :headscratch :headscratch :headscratch
The backup could be made up of McGuane, Rance, Raines, Morton.

I think Tuck might be playing key defence. He was CHB in the praccy game

whats with tuck in the backline?

expect us to get creamed in the centre more than usual

Expect us not to turnover the ball as much in the midfield!

Not at AFL level although mised results at VFL level. Only really towelled up by Miller. I worry abou this awareness though seems to be run down from behind a lot.

I agree that the Cat may be a smokey. Always got the big job in the twos when Schulz, Lukey and Moore jibbed it.
