- Will most likely come back this year and aims to play a few games
- Tore the tendon 80% of the bone.
- Has about 2 weeks of doing nothing, one week in after surgery already
- Will do strength training, swimming etc in a week
- Won’t be able to run for about 6 or 7 weeks
- Been told it’s about a 3mth recovery
- Same surgeon who did Matthew Llyod’s did Richos and Llyods was worse who came back well, also spoke to Llyod at half time last week and will speak again about what he did
- Surgery has about a 90% success chance of success
- In some ways will be a better player as had a clean up on the tendonitis of last 12mths, may add a year to his career
- Always planned on playing next year if his body was fine
- Can’t see himself in coaches box, doesn’t like it in there
- Can’t see himself as a coach, he is too impatient
- Will always be involved in footy but probably not as a Coach
- Enjoying working with Channel 10 on One and his media work
- Big advocate and champion of the Body Flow machine, been using it since 32 and says he thinks it’s helped him 5 or 10% in recovery
- Doesn't have any other probs, never had shoulder worries, knees are great etc etc

(Excuse the rushed delivery folks)

Basically a machine that gives little electronic impulses, Richo is on it all the time now. After training sessions and the day after games. Uses it on his legs, helps circulation, recovery and to recover from brusing, corkies, general soreness by removing the gunk and blockages in flow of blood through muscles.

Collingwood just bought one, I've also heard a lot of good things about it out of football so sounds promising.

Apparently good for the flight home after an interstate game

My dream of Richo returning as player-coach to replace Wallace has come crashing back to Earth.

I'm shattered! :hihi

That idiot Mark Dorkan as he was introducing Richo said he had just kicked his 800th goal in the game against the swans, and added "that's not including the behinds and oob's of which there were 1000's" or words to that effect.

Richo said "you having a dig at me already?"

If I was Richo I would have hung up on the idiot!

Club80 bought 4 of them (I think) last year for the guys.

Know what you mean, though I think it was just a poor joke. Richo handled it well, he's immediate response was, "Thanks for that little cheap shot" before asking if he was getting into him or having a dig so early...left Doran nowhere to go and exposed so he pulled his head in.

Mark Doran, just another rung in the ladder of idiots that SEN have on their payroll. Andy Maher potentially the worst human being but running a close second to Damian Barret. Don't even need to go into Francis Leach, the OX and Dermie. By the way I've got nothing against the guy but does Matt Thompson look like a giant baby to you guys? http://www.sen.com.au/index.php?sectionID=5412&pageID=5412&staticID=Presenters

Mark Fine is the worst of the lot.
