In his 15th season Richo achieved the following personal career records;

The most kicks in a season
The most disposals in a season
The most marks in a season
The most tackles in a season

Absolutely amazing for his age, Richo is the enigmatic tiger energiser bunny that just keeps on keeping on.

Could go another 3 years I reckon.

I love him too, and his energy is fantastic but I hope that when he takes a mark next season he doesn't try and play on....most of his attempts in the latter part of this season have been bloody disastrous.

and how many leading goal kicking awards for the club, I have forgotten

awesome big fella

my best Richo memory for the season was during the first Essendon game.

Just before the final siren went the camera's were on him. Off went the siren and he absolutely spat it (i think he even threw his mouthguard into the turf) Right at that moment someone from Essendon (i think it was Mal Michael) called to him and at the height on enragement he graciously turned and shook the guys hand holding his rage inside while congratulating the victor with a smile.

This masterful piece of television my friends should be included into the school cirriculum next year as one of the finest displays of sportsmanship.

Mate the guys a true champ and deserves all the accolades that come his way. :clap

I laugh when i here people say that *smile* cant play alongside Richo and if Richo weren't there *smile* would step up wat a load of crap if ur good enough ur good enough and unfortunately Jay aint up to it, i wish he was really as he would be another key forward to trouble opposition teams but after 5 years i think its time he moves on.

And as good as he can be.....does he hurt enough sides?

Perhaps.....nah its time to move him away fromt he fwd line......

But yeah you gotta love the guy for his passion....

I think a lot of these records are to do with the fact that he's finally managed to play 22 games in the season
He's only done this 3 other times in his career
Let hope that next year he can break his record for most goals in a season

I love Richo ... yellow and black runs through his veins.

Does anybody have Rex's "Richo Richo Man ...." song as an MP3 ?

I'd love to have that as my ring tone :)
