The only music you will here echoing of the Telstra dome is 20,000 ferals booing in unison after another
pitiful capitulation!!!!

*smile* off Diggler, ya wanker moron prat lonely little man.

I'm all for a Richo chant but I'd rather one where everyone knew it.
Keep up the good idea!

If the cheer squad starts chanting RICCCHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! before the game everyone needs to join in not just the cheer squad. All the members need to get involved.

anyone sing? - i was waiting for someone to start but heard zip.. except riiiiccchhhoooo.. classic

well i was at the back of the goals spencer st end and i heard alot from the BARMY ARMY? it was like being at an ashes test, that really must have pumped the players up!!!!

Youll never walk alone unfortuantely or any other chant wont work not enough passionate followers , its a totally different type of following culture in soccer etc its inbedded as part of the game to chant and sing.
I wrote to the club 3 times ,cheer squad etc and no one even bothered to get bacl to me , no one gives a toss .

I'm usually concentrating on the game too much to chant or sing.

I suppose everyone to their own, you can still can sing and have a chant and watch the game you wouldnt like sing the song every 5 miutes its usually sung before a game , but its not for everyone to like that sought of thing wheres me i think it would add to the games total atmosphere, ive seen an awful lot of games and i love football but i have yet to experience any atmosphere that could rival liverpool v barcelona match i witnessed at anfield .

im all up for passing on any chants / ideas you have for the fans to sing. come stand up the back of the goals with the tiger army, and we'll show you a great time. It might not be thousands butits as close to the soccer atmosphere that you'l get at a tiger game. We get that loud that we had numerous lions supportes move seats on Sat night as they were so shocked by our singing and support, they couldnt take it!!

I would also love to pass on any ideas to the cheer squad for you. However they are tradionalists and the chants they have now are the same as they had 5 years ago. It worth a shot though, just to bring some life into thier souls! Being a paid up cheer squad member, it pains me to stand where i do and watch the cheer squad struggle along somtimes with getting the crowd excitied. A new few chants would be excellent.

we actually started the walk on chant last year, with little to no interest from tiger fans. I agree it is useless unless we get a lot of people in on it.
We have plenty of passionate followers in the 'grog squad'. Just with the lack of success the blow ins have dissapeared and it has been left up to the die hards to work people up into a frenzy. Im not sure if any of you stood / sat up the back v the bumbers, but that was the loudest we have been in a damn long time! I love it and i only wish that more tigers would come and join the fun and get behind the songs.!!!

mate i always cheer no matter what i just dont have the temperament to just watch and clap, my throat is killing from saturday i lost the plot in that last quarter but it was great fun.

yer i rekon the grog squad and cheer squads do a good job , but i really dont think people dont realise how good a chant sounds when its over the whole stadium, well even most of the stadium, but the club has a huge mailing list all they haveto do is attach the copy of the words "youll never walk alone" and the tune in a media file ive sent them everything they need and still not a reply.
It would take them no time at all for it to catch on. They then need to somehow play the song before the game over the pa or if the club wont help us someone needs to bring a loud enough stereo.
Play it near the cheer and grog squad and it will slowly catch on, even if 100-200 of us sang it would sound ok.

yes yes it would. Perhaps next home game at the g (melb 3 weeks) take the copy of the song to punt road and get bruce the dj 2 play it. they are pretty open to these suggestions, so do that (prob after the game) and im sure itl take off.

yer i was thinking of doing that at least some of us could get on board and sing .

Don't get me wrong, I cheer and shout, but it is all reactive to what is happening in the game.
