I will be hoping to see Cale Morton play on the wing on Sunday and hopefully see he and Rich matched up. Morton was a strong consideration for our 2nd pick last year and given that Richo has turned into a wingman this year we may get a glimpse of what might have been. And no, before someone posts it, I don't wish we had picked Morton over Cotchin.
Morton could well end up another Buddy but a better kick. If only we could encourage him to play with his brother.............

id like to see richo and polak play ff and chf to take the heat of a very promising junior in riewoldt.

Cale morton hasnt shown anything to suggest he will be any good yet, he couldnt hit a target standing next to him against the pies, he could be better than buddy? yeh & Lnyden Dunn will be Prime minister one day

Richo won't be playing on a wing with a bung knee. Like last week Richo will play up forward.

Cale Morton has been very impressive performing every week for the Dees.

Even though Cotchin started later, it is very hard to separate the two, just as it was back in October/November last year. The decision between the two was only made on the basis of Cotchin's closer past relationship with our club.

Both boys are excellent players who will look forward to outstanding careers.

U mean during the season that they are currently 1 win & 10 losses.Yep,he really has lifted the team into the stratosphere. Of course we're all tigers supporters & if someone hits a target we're all impressed.

So you're saying because he personally hasn't won games off his own boot he's a failure.

Richo has only the one sore knee. If he had two broken knees he would wipe the floor with Cale Morton. Would kick ten on him.

Cale's been giving a bit of run and support but the idea that he only started with the shocking kicking last week is erroneous. He's had several nightmare games.

Cale was a scratching with the flu a fortnight ago. Windy Hill flu. The 18yo has a niggle. Probably had it for months.

BTW if we'd taken Morton over Cotchin the riot squad would have been on Punt Road alert from last week. If not round one.

I'm actually happy to see Jaaaack copping some heat at the moment.
Really enjoy watching this kid play but he has obviously to much talent for VFL and I suspect the Tassie league he played in before he was picked up.
Talent is what gets you onto an AFL list, for Jaaaack to be under the pump a it will do this kid a world of good.
The times he gets the ball, it's obvious he has got the skills and nous to be a quality AFL player. He just needs to be shown by other players that a heap of hard work and fitness to match the talent is required for success at AFL level.

i agree with all you say but jack is 10kg from playing kp. we have two strapping blokes in richo and polak let them play on the monsters they have to be good for something.
jack will cop plenty as a third tall and if he plays well enough will cop the oppositions best defenders anyway. lets not go looking for him to be knocked from pillar to post. that will happen soon enough by itself.

I'll call you on this one.

I think in limited time Cotchin has shown much more then Morton. I am not sure how good Morton can be over the longterm. Think he will be good maybe very good but Cotchin in my view will be elite.

On what little of both in the AFL we have seen to date I reckon that would be spot on.

I have Ian,especially yesterdays match, Cale Morton makes more mistakes than a blind crossing guard.Major cat.If Davey is their best player & C.Morton their future, they're in more trouble than they thought.
