Hi All,
First post in a long time, and not one I really wanted to make, but I wanted to share that TigerMasochist passed away a few weeks ago. For those of you who remember me from my posting days you might recall that I'm his daughter. If you're looking for someone to blame for inflicting him upon PRE that would be me, as I was the one who found Roar Power back in the day, so apologies for that
I know there's a few of you who disagreed with some of his opinions and trust me I did too, but he was a great dad who gave me my love of the tigers. The first Richmond event he ever took me to was the save our skins rally, which was probably a fair warning on how the next nearly 30 years would go. I'll forever be grateful that we got to experience the 17, 19 and 20 flags together. Going to the footy will never be the same again. I'll miss texting him footy news during the day, watching replays of our wins, and his ability to have the most random footy fans bail him up for a chat while waiting for the train to the G.
It was a tough grand final to watch on Saturday, knowing that he would have gotten so much joy out of Geelong getting smacked. I did make sure to send his little brother a text reminding him of that fact
Thank you all for putting up with the old man and his ramblings all these years. I'll still be around, lurking rather than posting.
P.S. mods feel free to move this to the general board, just wanted to put this on the main board initially for people to see.
