PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

Regarding tonights match where Adelaide destroyed St Kilda...are teams too afraid to try Richmond's tactics, because of the backlash the tactics cause? Obviously Sheedy won't use those tactics, but why aren't other teams trying it? It's the only chink in the Crow armour thats been seen all year and otherwise they're unbeatable. I'm really finding it strange teams aren't trying Richmond style tactics to stop the run.

Is it because they feel they have the teams to beat the Crows playing their own game plan? Or did we catch the Crows on a bad day? Because we won the contest against the Crows, were prepared to get the hard ball, then play possession footy once we had it. Can't other teams do this?

I'm seriously quizzical about this. If teams were serious about winning games and having seen a style of game plan that can beat the Crows, why aren't they trying it themselves? Personally, I don't care how the game is won, as long as its won. I cheered as long and as hard at the Crows game as I do at every other game I'm at. Are other teams too fearful of their supporters reactions to try these?

Lot of questions, sorry, but I need some enlightenment.
