Just noticed in the telly guide that David Rodan is a guest on The Fat tonight. I'm in Sydney, but as far as I know it's a nationwide programme.

There was an issue back in 2003 or so when the original post and edit happened. It was something to do with transferring the data base to a new forum from memory. It's nothing that needs looking into now.
Why Tigerman91 decided to bring the thread up with a "who cares" comment over 6 years later is beyond me to understand.

I've been smarting for 6 years that my post about David Rodan appearing on the Fat didn't get a single reply, so in fact I would now like to express my deep gratitude to Tigerman for belatedly stimulating discussion about it.
There is a lesson in this for all us in the wonderful PRE community - if you start a new topic and it is greeted with stone cold silence, never fear, it can take the best part of a decade before someone out there recognises your hard work and gives you public acknowledgment. Even a dismissive "So, who cares?" can make all the difference! :'(

By why stop here - maybe "Rodan on TV" will go on to challenge the great Krakouer and Tambling threads for number of pages.
As they say at Richmond FC - sometimes you've to be in the system for 6 years before you see any development!
