He isn't a required player and we would be better served offering his contract to someone who wants to earn their keep and not look for a free ride. He should be de-listed to enable the promotion of either another rookie or a player from the PSD. Let's face it if we did nothing for a year and then went back to work would we be expected to earn our pay? Of course we would he has to earn a new contract, Tucky did it so why can't he?

Here here.
Rodan has done nothing and should be delisted.
Ferals get excited because he showed good form in meaningless
practice games.
He has no right to make demands and is extremely lucky to be playing AFL as he
is only a good suburban footballer at best!!!!

should be delisted only if his contract conditions set out by RFC is not met.

What is so sad is that while the issue varies the tune always remains the same.

I will suprised if Roden  laeves the Tigers looks like hes manager might be the problem ..GM will sort it out ..and I looking  forward to Roden  having a great season with the Mighty Tigers in 2006
I think you hit the nail on the head there pete, however it's just Rodan's manager who is the problem, it is player managers right across the whole competition. Rodan should take the deal that's being offered and prove to the club, the supporters and himself that he deserves something better. I can't see him getting anything better anywhere else

I know you can't compare but Tuck proved himself & will reap the rewards. Drod will need to follow suit IMO

During the last season Rodan has dropped behind players such as Tuck, Deledio, Tambling and Pettifer and has others such as Krakouer, Hartigan, Foley, Myer, Raines and Polo all at similar levels. He started behind Brown, Johnson, *smile* and Newman. He is short and can only play on ball or forward flank or pocket so has limited options. Its very competitive for the smaller forward and on ball positions.

If you are small then you have to be the best in the club to hold that position because the others have options to play other positions.
