Richmonds first pick Jake Aarts
Love this bloke as a VFL player, however have doubts on him at the top level, anyway I’ve seen worse on the RFC list, best of luck Jake hope you become a star

Grigg and the XCollingwood player not picked up.
Just shows being delisted makes it 10 times harder to get back on a list.

Must be a really *smile* draft. After pick 35 in the ND clubs were innie Minnie mo picks.

Gee our salary cap must be really tight!! only 3 rookies, plus Baker

Weller to come. so we are going in with 38 senior list players and 5 rookies.

Still not happy we didnt draft another ruckman
This leaves us 1 spot to pick up a rookie mid season next yr.

Grigg
Bolton
Gibbons

The three unluckiest men in football.

Kyle Reid
Tom Lewis
Hayden Sampson

Have no idea why they were overlooked.

Marlion Pickett

It's over, clearly people didn't want a 27 year old

Mitch Maguire

Need to get yourself over to Victoria.

The thing that surprises me with Griggs non selection is that clubs were prepared to take a punt on plenty of state leaguers ( 7 I think) and his appeared to be a class above

Maybe if Grigg wins another Margery he might find a spot on GC's rookie list.
The SANFL and WAFL would be on par with 1st division VAFL

All the state league guys recruited had pace, that would seem to be the key. Grigg, Bolton & Gibbons aren't quick so they get ignored. That's the trend.

Mitch Maguire very, very stiff. He needs to join a VFL club.

Ok thanks bully. Again thanks a stack for your efforts in to the reports on the kids, each pick the first thing I’d do was check out your thoughts on it, I’m sure I speak for plenty , if you can get to the London on the 8th would love to show the appreciation by buying you a couple of beverages

Another sh!t draft. What's the point of Chol and Aarts seriously.

While I disagree with the "other" part, I would have prefered Lewis to Aarts.

Chol was doing alright last year before the big injury. Not sure he will make it, but a rookie is about right for where he is at. Then again, I would have preferred K. Reid to him, but not by a lot.

If they let clubs just transfer players to the Rookie List, there would be no need for this.

In fact, given that there is no difference between when a rookie can play and when a listed player can play, they may as well just make the playing list 44 and be done with it.

Just on the Tigers, we will obviously list Weller and maybe one other player over the coming weeks. Or go to the mid-season draft with a vacancy on the list.
