I believe he used to be (for quite a few years.......), but at this moment you should remember that we have one N.Brown on our list and he didn't come across to Punt Road without a decent incentive.

Wallace, Miller, Richardson, Brown would be the only ones around that figure I would hope.

Gaspar was reportedly on close to $500k per season prior to his paycut.

Cant think of anyone else at the club who would command anywhere near that at the moment.

on the subject of rookies. I've spent a few years in darwin and they play their season now.There's a lot of talented kids up there who'd love to be given an oppotunity to train with us. Especially with bling here. Could be worth flying 4 or 5 down to train with us with an eye on being rookied. most of the kids up there get very homesick.So if u got them down now to training and evaluated who'd make it u may get a smokie or 2 out of it.(ala aarondavey,tambiing,motlopbrothers,michael long,rioli etc).Just a thought.

Disn't Chubba come through our rookie list?
I seem to recall reading or hearing about it on more than one occassion.
All Australian and as courageous a player as you could want.

Wouldn't mind if we contributed to the club finding another one just like him.

Chubba and Matthew Greig were on our supplementary list which meant they had to be drafted and could not be upgraded like Plapp and Tivendale. I dont think supp list operates anymore as it was just a top up of players when we had reserves.
