Ross Monaghan - F.O.M - doesn't have a clue.

Personally I couldn't give a rats arse what the HUN are reporting about the players that were dropped. End of the day it comes down to performance and winning. Whilst I want the team to tank it still and make sure we get the best draft picks we can, there is absolutely no harm (given our present ladder position) in playing some of the young kids and finding out just where they are in development terms either.

So what if these 5 guys have some 800 games between them in experience, now if they'd contributed and won 3 flags in 5 years, then perhaps you'd have cause to be concerned, but they didn't and haven't so its time to change the guard and get on with the idea of winning once again.

I would think Bowden & Simmonds will retire at some stage if they don't get back into the seniors.

I'd expect it as seasons end, but not sure if Joel would jump before then (definitely can see Simmo going with injury though).

Get the feeling from his attitude last night Brown also knows it over for him too, didn't sound enthusiastic about his chances for getting back in the side.

I think your right, lost his confidence now Terry's gone.

He handled it diplomatically. Let the media and supporters speculate all they want. The club needs to keep playing these questions with a dead bat.

Agreed.
The reasons for it are pretty obvious. No need to paper it over or spell it out.
Let others draw their own conclusions.

He was asked a question though and had to respond. If he had declined to answer, it would have been more fuel to the fire surely. I think his answer was actually quite clever. He has put the onus back onto the players. I think if you read between the lines, he is saying they are basically gone, but of course ;), the club will consider any player who warrants selection.
